1.3 This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or requests to the controller). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character string ‘https://’ and the lock symbol in your browser line.
2) Data collection when you visit our website
If you use our website for informational purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called ‘server log files’). When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website:

Our visited website
Date and time at the time of access

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be passed on or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

3) Cookies
We use cookies on various pages to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information such as browser and location data as well as IP address values to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
We may work with advertising partners to help us make our website more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies are also stored on your hard drive when you visit our website (third-party cookies). If we work with the aforementioned advertising partners, you will be informed individually and separately about the use of such cookies and the scope of the information collected in each case in the following paragraphs.
Please note that you can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and can decide individually whether to accept them or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. 4) Contact

When you contact us (e.g. using a contact form or by email), personal data is collected. The data collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. These data are stored and used solely for the purpose of answering your request or for establishing contact and for the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR. If the purpose of your contact is to conclude a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after the final processing of your enquiry; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.
5) Use of your data for direct advertising

5.1 Registering for our email newsletter
When you register for our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only information required to send the newsletter is your email address. Any other information provided is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to the sending of newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm that you wish to receive future newsletters by clicking on a corresponding link.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR. When you register for the newsletter, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later point in time. The data collected by us when registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively for the purpose of promotional address by means of the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a message to the responsible person named above. After you have cancelled your subscription, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

5.2 Newsletter delivery via MailChimp

Our e-mail newsletter is sent via the technical service provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/), to whom we pass on the data you provided when registering for the newsletter. This transfer is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. Please note that your data is usually transferred to a MailChimp server in the USA and stored there.
MailChimp uses this information to send and statistically evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. For the purpose of evaluation, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files stored on our website. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymised form and is not linked to your other personal data; direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of recipients.
If you wish to object to the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Furthermore, MailChimp can use this data itself in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on its own legitimate interest in the needs-based design and optimisation of the service as well as for market research purposes, for example to determine which countries the recipients come from. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties.
To protect your data in the United States, we have entered into a data processing agreement (‘Data Processing Agreement’) with MailChimp based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses to enable the transfer of your personal data to MailChimp. If you are interested, this data processing agreement can be viewed at the following Internet address: http://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/.
MailChimp is also certified under the US-European data protection agreement ‘Privacy Shield’ and is thus committed to complying with EU data protection requirements.
You can view MailChimp’s privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

6) Web analysis services

6.1 Google (Universal) Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your abbreviated IP address) will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension ‘_anonymizeIp()’, which ensures anonymisation of the IP address by shortening it and excludes a direct personal reference. As a result of the extension, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address, transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics, with any other data held by Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being passed to Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
As an alternative to the browser plug-in or for browsers on mobile devices, please click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data from this site in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain; if you delete your cookies in this browser, you will have to click this link again): Disable Google Analytics
Google LLC, based in the United States, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement ‘Privacy Shield’, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. You can disable the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under ‘My Data’, ‘Personal Data’.
For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

7) Tools and Miscellaneous

7.1 Google reCAPTCHA
On this website, we also use the reCAPTCHA function from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). This function is used primarily to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing. The service includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, on the basis of our legitimate interest in determining the individual willingness of actions on the Internet and avoiding abuse and spam.
Google LLC, based in the United States, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement ‘Privacy Shield’, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
Further information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/
7.2 Google Maps
On our website, we use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive maps to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and it is easier for you to find us.
When you access a subpage that includes a Google Maps map, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in to, or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want this information to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as user profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO based on the legitimate interests of Google in the display of personalised advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact Google to exercise this right.
Google LLC, based in the United States, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement ‘Privacy Shield’, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, there is also the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus the map display on this website cannot then be used.
You can view Google’s terms of service at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html, and the additional terms of service for Google Maps can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html.
Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on the Google website (‘Google Privacy Policy’): http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

7.3 Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’) for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
To do this, the browser you use has to establish a connection with Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer.
Google LLC, based in the United States, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement ‘Privacy Shield’, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.
Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
8) Rights of the data subject

However, this right does not apply, in particular, if the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
Right to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the correctness of your data, which you dispute, is verified, if you refuse to delete your data due to unauthorised data processing and instead request that the processing of your data be restricted, if you require your data for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, after we no longer need this data after the purpose has been achieved, or if you have lodged an objection for reasons relating to your particular situation, as long as it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons prevail;
Right to information in accordance with Art. 19 GDPR: If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing vis-à-vis the controller, the controller is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed of this rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
Right to lodge a complaint in accordance with Article 77 of the GDPR: If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
